This past week in the world of onchain music has been nothing short of incredible! In fact, I can confidently say that some of the discoveries I made during this week have topped my list for the entire month. It's been a thrilling journey through the sonic landscape of onchain music, and I can't wait to share more with you all.
Focusing on Onchain Music: Elevating Quality
One of the highlights of this week was the pleasure of onboarding not one, but two remarkable artists to onchain music. While their releases are yet to come, I am so excited to introduce them to you and showcase their music, onchain.
In the process of bringing these artists on board, I made a conscious choice to prioritize getting their music onchain swiftly, rather than embarking on an extensive journey of development within our community. This decision doesn't diminish my appreciation for the vibrant culture and camaraderie that defines our onchain music community. In fact, it's quite the opposite.
As passionate members of this community, all of us here understand the value of the community and the connection we offer one another. However, we also recognize that alongside our sense of unity, the quality of the music released plays an equally vital role. I firmly believe that this focus on elevating quality is a crucial first step toward achieving mass appeal and ensuring the continued growth and success of our cherished onchain music community.
My hope is that these newly onboarded artists will not only contribute their unique musical talents but also embrace the deep sense of community that makes the onchain music space so incredibly special.
Empowering with Knowledge: The Soul Tribe Solutions Onchain Music Guide
That being said, I did not leave the artists I’ve onboarded without a helping hand to immerse themselves into this space. I've provided them with the Soul Tribe Solutions Onchain Music Guide. This comprehensive guide has been a year in the making, crafted in collaboration with TAROT. Get ready for an alpha alert because we'll be rolling out this knowledge base in the coming weeks for all to access! Our goal is to break down the barriers to entry, offering clear and concise information on everything related to onchain music, from setting up your wallet to building a thriving community and even effectively marketing your music both onchain and off-chain.
Looking Back and Forward: A Reflection
As I reflect on this past month, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunity to share this musical journey with all of you. October holds even more exciting prospects, as I plan to take this curator project to a whole new level. While you can still expect my weekly blog posts diving into the extraordinary music I discover, I also have a few surprises up my sleeve! I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you who have joined me on this ride. Let's keep the momentum going! Onchain music is hotter than ever, and we're still in the early stages of this incredible journey.

Newest Additions (apologies for the chaotic links- I have no control over them):
Okay kayo (@OkayKayoMusic) has released yet another soulful, gritty track that's unmistakably his signature style. This song is an absolute gem, brimming with raw emotion. If you got swept up in the viral Giant Rooks Tik Tok sensation this summer, then Okay kayo’s song is sure to hit you in all the right places. This man has a goddamn voice. From those guttural vocal riffs to the overall emotional depth, it is so emotionally evocative that I literally don’t know what to do with myself while I listen.
"Brown Eyes" by FonDew (@ColoradoFonDew) was a hidden gem that popped up in my Twitter comments, and I couldn't be more thrilled. This beautifully crafted acoustic track is 1/3 acoustic releases slated for onchain release. While this one may already be sold out, keep those eyes peeled for this artist's future releases—they're sure to be good.
I've got a double feature for you! Daniel Glaven (@DanielGlaven) takes me right back to being 15 years old raving my little heart out. Both “Gone” and “Far Away” are exquisitely produce electronic tracks that flood the senses with pure ecstasy. No literally if you aren’t getting the spine shivers then I think you might need to fuck around and find out what I’m talking about. I had these songs on loop, back-to-back, and they unleashed a tidal wave of joy and nostalgia. 10/10 would collect and 10/10 would go see this artist live!
Gone:
Far Away:
It would be a travesty not to spotlight “hedsTAPE 16 feat. Kas Rizvi” by heds (@hedsDAO). Heds consistently serves up musical brilliance, and this track is no exception. Kas Rizvi (@kasrizvi) does electronic music justice, delivering exactly what I'm perpetually craving. Plus, you'll spot some onchain legends making appearances on this track—check out the description!
Amy Correa Bell (@AmyCorreaBell) unleashes an electrifying thrill with her track "Spacecraft." Although what really got me into this song was the chorus that had vox reminiscent of the great Gwen Stefani. This song oozes power and fierce energy. If only it were collectible right this very second, I'd be snatching up a copy faster than you can say "baddie."
Dot (@dotmvsic) knows what the fuck is up. She has a mastery of electronic and this drum and bass moment on “SPARKPLUG” is everything I needed. This might just become my anthem for the upcoming Aries full moon—it's the controlled chaos I yearn to unleash on the streets. Let's shower this artist with love because she's straight-up deserving of it, doing her thing and doing it oh-so-well!
In a surprising twist, I'm recommending music that most of you probably wouldn't expect—especially coming from me. You see, I was a classically trained ballet dancer for many years (and still dabble from time to time). So, with that little preamble, allow me to introduce you to Frerick den Haan (@hhmusic23). As I was sifting through tracks, I stumbled upon this artist, and their music instantly whisks me away into a synesthetic dream. Den Haan creates beautifully composed classical music, a fading art form that I'm ecstatic to see onchain. Take a moment to savor the roots of the music we're crafting today.
